Wroom: North of Forty-Five CLEAR VINY L
![]()
As the last millennium coughed and wheezed its last foetid breath, two unlikely warriors were drawn together by forces eldritch and arcane to face the crushing darkness of the coming new age. One hailed from snowy mountain country and the other was a native to the wild and dripping forests. Together, they hoarded devices and sufficient rations in a hidden lair and would hone their 'arts' by moonlight - through long black winters and withering summers- until this foretold time arose at last. Actually, Wroom is/are Portland residents: Nigel Barnes and Rian Callahan who began playing music together in 1999. "North Of Forty-Five" is their second release and was created using: guitars, various boxes covered with knobs, and a toy piano. The music is thick and mimimal, harmonic and asynchronous, whimsical
and heartfelt. They hope you like it. |
