Redeye Distribution is proud to announce several new exclusive US distribution deals.

Northern Blues and Bomp! Records/Alive Records represent some of the best new music and catalogue in their respective genres. Redeye’s Director of Marketing, Brian Pearl, comments “We’re extremely excited to be able to partner with labels of such high quality. NorthernBlues is a cutting-edge blues label out of Canada that stretches the boundaries of the blues. To date, approximately half of all NorthernBlues CDs have been nominated for some sort of industry award - over the last two years, the company has received 17 Blues Music Awards, including a nomination for album of the year. NorthernBlues artists include Watermelon Slim, the Homemade Jamz Blues Band, Samuel James, Moreland & Arbuckle, JW-Jones, Paul Reddick, Eddie Toug |Curner, Carlos del Junco, Doug Cox & Salil Bhatt.

Founded in 1966, Bomp! Records released albums by DMZ, the Warlocks, and The Modern Lovers, before becoming a catalogue only label in 2004. New music is distributed through the Alive Records imprint of Bomp!
Alive Records, started in 1993 in Los Angeles by French expatriate Patrick Boissel, grew from his association with U.S. label Bomp! Records. The first albums released under the new deal will be Thomas Function's and Ron Franklin's new records, which will be released on May 27.

Founded in 1996 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Redeye Distribution has grown from a small regional supplier to an international distributor recognized eight times by the National Association of Record Merchandisers (NARM) as the Distributor of the Year (small division).
