Live DVD and tour diary docudrama from veteran Champaign, Illinois indie-rock quartet Poster Children---formed in 1987 by guitarist Rick Valentin and bassist Rose Marshack. Over the last 15 years they've made some powerful, quirky, and dynamic albums: "Flower Power" (1989), "Daisy Chain Reaction" (1991), "Tool of the Man" (1993), and "Junior Citizen" (1995). Between albums Poster Children have created a self- produced live-concert-docudrama DVD "Zero Stars". "People were always asking us when we were going to release a live album", explains Valentin, " We always thought live albums were boring, so when digital video technology started becoming affordable, we decided to make a movie instead.
